My Story

 Why I started TOMIKAZU Group

About Me

I have no history of large tours or commercial operations.
Instead, I offer something simple and sincere — a peaceful walk, honest conversation, and a little cleanup together.

I do not run large tours or commercial operations.
 Instead, I offer something sincere:
a peaceful walk, warm conversation, and a chance to connect with Japan
through the gentle act of cleaning together.

No pressure. No performance.
Just real moments shared between people.

Alone with a sheet of paper and a single pen, I kept writing my thoughts— revising them again and again.
I asked for advice from many people, continuing through trial and error.

Life moves quickly.
It took me 49 years—
49 years of moments filled with learning and realization.

And in the end, I was able to create this handmade website.

I am deeply grateful for my encounter with JIMDO.
And I truly hope that what I have created here will be of help to people beyond borders.

This hope itself is my happiness.

“TOMIKAZU” is a word formed by taking one character each from my parents' names.
It embodies my wish to provide heartfelt experiences that resonate with people worldwide.
I worked for about five years in manufacturing as a fire safety officer. By rigorously enforcing organization and disposal of unnecessary items, I achieved results including improved performance, reduced defective products, and decreased workplace accidents.
After that, I worked in cleaning services at the U.S. Embassy staff facility, where I gained firsthand experience of the differences in values and education between Japan and other countries.

Residential neighborhoods, quiet parks, and the bonds between people—let us share all of these together.

We provide a place where those who love and visit Japan can experience “consideration” and “respect” through action.
Through a simple cleaning experience, we spend peaceful time together and touch the essence of Japan's cleanliness and public spirit.

The TOMIKAZU Group delivers experiences of “thoughtfulness” and ‘respect’ that cannot be measured by price. We believe their essence lies in a “culture of giving” and a “sensitivity to receiving.”

I realized that Japan's clean, safe, and punctual cities stem from a deeply ingrained sense of morality. It is a consideration for the public and an awareness of daily cleanliness.

And then I realized: what people who love Japan seek isn't mere sightseeing, but an experience of the essence of Japanese life and society.
This realization became the driving force behind this project. It is to provide opportunities to experience the essence of Japan through walking tours combined with small-scale cleanup activities.

I'm currently taking a leisurely stroll around the Shibuya area, doing a bit of cleaning along the way.
